Open Source Fluid Framework
In 2019 Microsoft has mentioned the open source fluid framework at Ignite conference. Since then this framework has gained immense popularity and attracted a lot of attention from the developers. In the Microsoft Build 2020, video conferencing, digital event, Microsoft announced that now developers will be able to build the windows application on a single platform. As per the techrepublic, “As described by Microsoft, Project Reunion "unifies the Windows platform and decouples it from the OS, allowing developers to easily integrate across Win32 and UWP APIs."
At the initial period, this platform was designed with the motive to allow developers to develop apps for several platforms including PCs, tablets, and phones. Later, this platform failed to attract the attention of the huge developers towards it.
This platform was not able to create that much buzz in the industry. After having this opportunity also, developers preferred and continued their development process, in traditional aspects only. But now, with project union, Mircosoft is offering a new opportunity to the developers to turn their development into more faster, modern, easier based on the agile methodology.
